Prayer Warriors Chairperson: Mrs. Autumn Wright
Prayer Warriors Vice-Chair: Mrs. Henrietta Overs
The Prayer Warriors ministry recognizes that prayer is a sacred privilege, a command, and an essential ministry in the church.
1 Timothy 2:1-2 (NIRV) First, I want you to pray for all people. Ask God to help and bless them. Give thanks for them.
Our mission is to promote healing, deliverance and reconciliation to God through Jesus the Christ with the power of prayer.
We are committed to responding to the hurts, pain and brokenness of our communities through prayer and Now Faith. Scripture calls upon us to “bear one another’s burdens” (Ephesians 6:2)
We are committed to providing corporate prayer opportunities for our congregation and neighboring communities, and most importantly, encourage and help people engage in a new and more intimate relationship with God.
As a ministry team, we meet once a month for informal fellowship, scripture and devotional readings, individual and corporate prayers. Followed by prayer walk around the sanctuary.
Every 4th Saturday of Month at 12:30 p.m.
Each Sunday at 7:30 a.m., a prayer warrior will be present to pray for and with the pastor and worship service participants.
Provide corporate prayer events throughout the year. These events offer a time for reflection, contemplation and meditation through prayer, scripture and music.
Support other ministries of the church through prayer and/or by providing intimate prayer stations
Respond to prayer requests received from the church office and individuals by texts, emails and phone calls.
No prayer request or concern is too small or too large! All requests are handled confidentially.
Prayer requests can be submitted to the church office and Prayer Warrior chair by phone call or anytime by email.
Your written prayer request may also be placed in prayer request box, which is located on the right side of the middle sanctuary doors.
